Fictionalized Retelling
The file had sworn words, but the teacher still wrote "context" across the board.
A claimant wanted payment. A witness wanted safety. A neighbor remembered one thing clearly and another through fear. The record was valuable because it showed the questions, not because it removed the need to ask them.
The class built two timelines: what the testimony said, and what other sources could check. The second timeline kept the first one honest.
