Fictionalized Retelling
The class had four questions ready: who, where, when, and what happened. The fifth came from the back row: what can this source not prove?
The room got quieter. The answer did not weaken the research. It made every strong sentence stronger because the weak ones had somewhere else to go.
By the end of the lesson, the board had two columns: supported and open. The open column was not a failure. It was the work waiting for better sources.
